Education is a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands, MEd in Applied Behavioral Studies from Oklahoma City University, and
BA in Anthropology from the University of Oklahoma.
Extensive experience counseling within mental health agencies, community mental health centers, and inpatient hospitals since entering the profession in 2013. Teaching counseling classes at Seton Hall University and Oklahoma City University, as well as supervising counselors working toward licensure. Honored as the 2021 Adjunct Professor of the Year by the OKCU Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning. Member of the American Counseling Association and Oklahoma Counseling Association.
Primary areas of focus and clinical experience are relief from emotional hardships, trauma, grief, relationship/family issues, attachment, insecurities, suicidality, self-harm, diversity and inclusion, matters of identity and gender, and problematic substance use.
Counseling should be accessible, therefore I make an effort to keep fees at a manageable rate. My standard out-of-pocket rate is up to $125 per 50 to 55-minute session and sliding scale may be available upon request.
